Sarah Cheeseman’s creative pebble art is currently on display and sale in Limpsfield’s Avalanche Gallery. While the local mum doesn’t actually live in Limpsfield, she regularly treks down Titsey Hill from her home “in the clouds” (aka Woldingham) , with children attending Funky Feet at Surrey Dance and for visits to Limpsfield Ceramics. Recently we had the pleasure of visiting local soft furnishing expert, Morag Roulston at her beautiful new studio space on Pains Hill (aka Paines Hill). The gorgeous garden studio, that Morag and husband David have been building over the last couple of years, is full of fabulous sample books, swatches and current client projects, including curtains and pelmets, cushions, covers and newly re-upholstered chairs. Commemorating the life of a much-loved local music teacher
It is with much sadness that the Wilton family announce the death of Jane Wilton, known to her pupils as Miss Bateman, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who died on Monday 4 December at her home in Sandy Lane, Limpsfield after a short battle with cancer. While wreaths have been used for many purposes over the centuries, including religious, political and spiritual, in Ancient Greek culture, the wreath symbolised the circle of life, representing those who have been and gone and those who are to come.
