Back in 2018, Limpsfield residents were treated to quite a spectacle as Panda Nursery’s bespoke modular building was carefully craned into position on Glebe Meadow, just off Limpsfield High Street. It marked a significant new chapter for a nursery that has long been part of the village’s fabric — and today, it continues to thrive in that same special spot.
Run by Ali Thompson, Panda Nursery is a warm and welcoming family business, set within a unique part-woodland, part-meadow environment. Surrounded by greenery and open space, it offers children aged 19 months to school age a calm, nurturing place to learn, play and explore — both indoors and out, with access to the beautiful Glebe Meadow for supervised outdoor adventures.
With decades of experience in early years education behind it, Panda has built a strong reputation for consistency, care and a genuine passion for what they do. Its highly trained team of Early Educators are all directly employed, with many having been part of the nursery for five to ten years — something that makes a real difference to the children in their care.
