Flashback Friday: White Mare Cottages, Limpsfield Chart

The lovely White Mare Cottages on Stoneleigh Road that overlook Limpsfield Chart and the National Trust land were first built in the 1800s, but by the 1970s they had fallen into disrepair and become largely derelict.

Titsey Place & Gardens opens from 17 May

The beautiful and historic Titsey Place off Water Lane in Limpsfield and its gorgeous gardens will once again be open to the public from May 17 through to 27 September, 2017.

If you’re a local dog owner, you probably walk through the Titsey Estate often, but over the summer, Titsey is a fantastic place to take your mum, friends, children (but not dogs, except guide dogs) to have a look around the house, explore the gardens and woodland or have tea in the old Home Farm dairy buildings, which were converted into Tea Rooms in 2007.
