Titsey Place & Gardens opens from 17 May

The beautiful and historic Titsey Place off Water Lane in Limpsfield and its gorgeous gardens will once again be open to the public from May 17 through to 27 September, 2017.

If you’re a local dog owner, you probably walk through the Titsey Estate often, but over the summer, Titsey is a fantastic place to take your mum, friends, children (but not dogs, except guide dogs) to have a look around the house, explore the gardens and woodland or have tea in the old Home Farm dairy buildings, which were converted into Tea Rooms in 2007. Flashback Friday: 1941 trip in the automobile

1941, day out in the automobile ‘near #Oxted‘. We’re pretty sure this is taken from outside The Boys Home at #Titsey Road approaching #Limpsfield Village.
“It’s one of my favourites from my grandfather’s album,” says Lynn. “He mainly photographed views, but that one’s special, because it includes my Mum, uncle and grandmother in the picture, together with a friend. They were living in Selsdon at that time, so would’ve gone down Titsey Road to be ‘near Oxted’.
