On Saturday 8th July, Limpsfield will be getting its very own “Summer Social“, a chance for everyone to get together for no particular reason, aside from having fun, socialising and sampling a little community spirit!
The Summer Social will take place on Glebe Meadow, 2-5.30pm. Organised by St Peter’s Church, but for all the community, the event will include a BBQ, drinks and games for kids, including football and cricket.
“I’ve been wanting to organise a social for a while now,” said St Peter’s comms manager and event organiser, Caroline Campbell. “It’s just a great opportunity for the adults to chill out and socialise with a few drinks, while the kids are occupied with some sport.”
The Social will be free entry, but there will be a donation system for the bar and food. People are also more than welcome to bring their own alcohol.
People are welcome to just turn up on the day, but in order to gauge numbers for food etc, Caroline asks that everyone intending on going drops her an email at comms.lttm@gmail.com. Please also contact her for any other enquiries regarding the Summer Social.
