The fabulous Friends of Limpsfield Common is a dedicated group of around 40 volunteers who meet every week to help the National Trust to keep Limpsfield Common and surrounds in great condition so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. They are always in need of more help, and meet on Thursdays for clearing and other work around the Limpsfield Common area.

Yesterday morning, Friday, Christine Sofianos of Forge Cottages in Limpsfield found a very groggy Tree Bumblebee queen in her garden and gave it sustenance to help it on its way. Over the Easter Weekend, there will be some very special Easter Egg hunts around the “Homes for Woodland Creatures”, Ridlands Grove, Limpsfield Chart, in aid of the George & The Giant Pledge for The Royal Marsden. This is the charity pledge set up by the parents of courageous little cancer fighter, George Woodall.
