This Monday, 28th May, 2-6pm the One World Group, Oxted is hosting open gardens in six beautiful locations around Limpsfield and Oxted. Teas will be available at two of the gardens and you’ll also be able to buy plants and tickets for a raffle.
The One World Group Oxted was formed in 1983 and is committed to taking a more direct approach to helping people living in poverty, through self-help and sustainability. It now has 430 members who regularly raise funds for projects.
The Open Gardens is an annual event, and this year, tickets (£6 when purchased in advance) are available from Limpsfield Memorial Stores, as well as Knights Garden Centre, Paydens Bookshop, Second Hand Bookshop, Station Road West, Robert Leech Estate Agents and Select Convenience Stores, Hurst Green.
Tickets can also be bought on the day.
Gardens can be visited in any order at the following locations from 2pm-6pm:
- 16 Detillens Lane – plants for sale
- Plumbers Arms Allotments (park at the allotments car park)
- Ballards, Ballards Lane (park at Grub St car park – Golf Club) + teas
- 26 Brassey Hill
- 11 Greenhurst Lane + teas
- Ivy Cottage, 65 Hurst Green Road
