In conjunction with the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Chic Grooming is holding a Treat Tasting day this Friday, 29 September, 10am to 4PM. The fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support requires a small donation of £2.00 per dog and £2.00 per human.

It didn’t seem seem fair that our four-legged friends miss out on ‘tea and cakes’, said Anita Dolby,  “so this special event will be to enable them to taste and enjoy all the in-house treats that we sell at Chic – cakes, muffins, biscuits crisps, even beer and wine!

However, owners will not miss out either: Every adult, accompanied by at least one dog, will also be welcome to come and enjoy some tea, coffee and cakes, on the condition that they don’t embarrass their dog in front of his friends on the day.

There will also be a special raffle to win a doggy hamper of treat and Pet Photographers will be there for the entire day.

Otherwise, if you and your pets are only interested in the goodies, then just turn up on the day.
