This Sunday, 24th September, St Peter’s Limpsfield invites all families to celebrate Harvest at Messy Church, an afternoon event from 3.30-5.30pm in the Millennium Room of St Peter’s Church. The fun includes a variety of ‘messy’ crafts and activities for kids, ranging from toddlers up to 11 years, with their parents or carers.
Messy church is a great opportunity for young families in Limpsfield (and surrounding areas) who can come and enjoy a fun afternoon of crafts and a light meal together, often with a short story or song.
For those who want to take part, there will also be a game of football and other sports at the Messy Church Sports Club down on the Glebe Meadow.
If you’d like to come along please let Caroline Campbell know via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Or just turn up on the day.
If after-school works better for you, then St Andrew’s Church will be holding their Children’s Church for Harvest on Monday 25th September.
This will take place in St Andrew’s Hall on Limpsfield Chart, and there will be a variety of crafts and activities for children to enjoy. Under 5s can arrive from 3.15pm, with activities for older children starting at 3.45pm.
St Andrew’s Limpsfield Chart Harvest Festival Service will be on Sunday 1st October at 11am.
St Peter’s Limpsfield will hold theirs the following weekend on Sunday 8th October at 10am.
Harvest is a time where everyone comes together to celebrate good things and God’s creation and everyone is welcome to any of the festivities over the coming weeks.
