In case you didn’t know, Limpsfield once again received a Gold award in the annual RHS Britain in Bloom competition in the large village category for South & South East in Bloom. Congratulations to all involved and to neighbouring Tatsfield, the group’s overall winners.
RHS Britain in Bloom is a nationwide community gardening campaign to transform cities, towns and villages. It’s been helping communities to improve their local environment since 1964 and more than 1,600 groups participate every year with the aim to transform community spaces.
Limpsfield’s campaign is led each year by Ann Osborn and a group of green-fingered gardening enthusiasts from Limpsfield & Oxted District Horticultural Society and Limpsfield Village residents, who dedicate a massive amount of time and effort to create the beautiful floral displays that are seen throughout the village. They are always happy for help and donations to the Limpsfield in Bloom fund.
