And so another Limpsfield Village Fete is over. And what a great day – with a huge turnout and lots of great stalls and activities for all the family.
Musical entertainment was provided by the East Grinstead Saxophone group, featuring St Peter’s own vicar, James Percival.
As ever the dancing from Limpsfield Infants School and Surrey Dance was hugely popular; as was the dog show run by Chic Grooming.
There was lots of delicious food and drinks from the BBQ, bar and Pimms Bar, Memorial Stores, Strawberries & Cream and the kids’ favourite ice cream van.
The Limpsfield & Oxted District Horticultural Society’s plant sale was once again a sell-out and there was seed planting and plant pot decoration with St Peter’s Messy Church.
We had a raffle, old school kids’ games with Panda Nursery; football with St Peter’s; mini rugby skills with Edenbridge Rugby Club and the chance to look around one of Limpsfield’s new businesses, Limpsfield Fitness.
There were homewares stalls including Pomona & Ceres candles and some amazing historical photos from Limpsfield Parish Council.
Thanks to everyone who made the day so brilliant and to everyone who came along and supported.
See you next June!
