THIS FRIDAY, 31 March (8-10pm) and Saturday 1 April (10am-6pm) there will be a Photographic Exhibition and Art Display and in St Peter’s Church Hall. The exhibition will showcase Limpsfield residents’ artistic and photographic talent!
The local photo and art exhibition will sit alongside a photographic display from the Tandridge Photographic Society and there will be wood turning demonstrations in the hall on both days.
A snapshot competition has also been held and visitors will have the chance to judge the competition.
Local resident, Tony Stoughton-Harris was tasked with collating and judging the entries, which were sent in by local residents of all ages. There are around 100 paintings in many mediums and over 100 snapshots, covering a wide range of topics; humans, flowers, animals, country scenes, ice and quaint pictures. The eldest entrant was in his 80s.
The proceeds will be split between a Syrian Children’s charity and St Peter’s Church.
