The Limpsfield Community Orchard will be running its annual Tasting Day on Sunday 22nd September and this year, there will be a picnic too!

Everyone is welcome to join the orchard volunteers to spend some time in the orchard, find out what it’s all about, taste this year’s crop, see how the trees are doing and join in with the children’s treasure hunt.

Why not visit us via the Orchard Trail, which starts at St Peter’s Churchyard and wends its way up to Grub Street and through the woods?

• From St Peter’s Church, walk up Limpsfield High Street
• Just past Memorial Stores, turn left opposite Sylvan Close up the way-marked footpath leading into woodland and up a steep hill. 
• Some way past the top of the hill (you can do a diversion right at the top to visit the WW2 Air Raid Shelters), you will see a memorial bench on the left with stunning views to the North Downs. 
• Just before the bench, swing to the right and cross the golf fairway diagonally, aiming for the way-mark and carved three “throne”. 
• PLEASE TAKE PARTICULAR CARE CROSSING THE GOLF COURSE and wait for any golfers to take their shots before crossing.
• Cross Grub Street and enter the woods at the signpost marked “Community Orchard”. Follow the winding footpath through the woods to the Orchard.
