🎄 Christmas in Limpsfield 2025 🎄

Limpsfield Loves Christmas!
The festive season is upon us and Limpsfield is ready to sparkle! Here’s what’s happening over the coming weeks as the village gets into the Christmas spirit. Don’t forget to Light up Limpsfield again this year with your beautiful wreaths and twinkling lights — let’s make the village and chart village shine!

Christmas Fairs & Events

There’s a packed line-up of festive fairs and events to kick things off!

Start the season with festive bells, soup and cheese rolls, cakes, books, a raffle, and plenty of pre-loved treasures.

Love Oxted Christmas Event – Sat 22 Nov, 2–6pm
Enjoy market stalls (including some of our very own Limpsfield businesses), live entertainment, a 5pm procession, and the big 5.15pm lights switch-on with Sir Richard and Joe Stilgoe, BBC Radio Surrey’s Mark Carter, and the Sing It Out Choir.

Limpsfield Infants & Hazelwood Schools Fairs – Sat 29 Nov
Visit Limpsfield Infants in the morning and Hazelwood in the afternoon — two lovely school fairs in one day!

Also on Sat 29 Nov, don’t miss the Limpsfield Cookery School & Kitchen Winter Open Day from 10am–2pm. Pop in to see Jacqui, sample her delicious festive fare, explore the freezers, and enjoy a glass of fizz or a cup of tea. There’ll be lots of foodie gifts to pick up too!

Limpsfield Village is buzzing with Festive Spirit this December…

Limpsfield is always lovely at Christmas with its Christmas Tree Parade at St Peter’s and lots of lights and wreaths on all the houses in the village and it’s a great time of year to really appreciate our wonderful community by supporting local businesses.

Limpsfield Village Christmas Shopping Day – Tuesday 9 December

Since 2022 Bey Tree & Friends has held a charity Christmas Shopping event at The Bull Inn, but this year Limpsfield is doing things a little differently with a mid-week festive shopping day in the village!
On Tuesday 9 December, there will be simultaneous Christmas shopping events at The Bull Inn (11am–4pm) with lots of locals hosting stalls, and at Wickhams Courtyard (10am–3pm), where Bey Tree, The Limpsfield Home Company (who have now also taken over the yoga studio) and Kate Tulett & Friends will be hosting stalls, gifts, a charity raffle and tasty treats.

While you’re in the village, visit the Limpsfield Cookery School and Memorial Stores for foodie presents and warm up with festive drinks at Coffee at Kiwi House (you can still order a Yule Log).
It’s a great opportunity to shop local and support your local businesses.
Please walk if possible, but if you do need to drive, park down by the church and enjoy a stroll up to the village.

The Limpsfield Royal British Legion at Grub Street is also buzzing with Christmas spirit this December, with plenty going on for everyone:

Sat 13 Dec: Kids’ Christmas Party, 2–4pm
Sun 14 Dec: Christmas Raffle Draw, 4–6.15pm (tickets available at the bar)
New Year’s Eve Disco Party: £15, includes a finger buffet, entertainment and fizz at midnight. And if you’re looking for a great Christmas get-together, don’t forget the Skittle Alley is available for hire (£100). Just ask behind the bar for details.
