Have you ever wished you had a better variety of plants in your garden or coveted those that your neighbour has?! As part of its commitment to biodiversity and the love of gardening, Limpsfield’s Biodiversity Corner is launching a “Community Seed Swap” scheme.
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seed you plant.” Robert Louis Stevenson.
Everything starts with a seed and we want to be part of the seed swap revolution, helping to increase biodiversity of plants and flowers in our local area, one seed at a time.
What you need to do:
- Collect an envelope from our box at Memorial Stores or Detillens Corner (Limpsfield Biodiversity Corner)
- Fill it with seeds (see how to collect seeds below). The best time to collect sees is June to October/November.
- Keep hold of them for now and keep your eyes peeled for updates on this website and social media [@limpsfieldsurrey and @limpsfieldbiodiversitycorner] for seed swapping days/events in the new year.

To find out more about our seed swap scheme, plus tips on how to collect seeds and other useful info, visit our page HERE. As we get going, we’ll be adding more information, tips, ideas and successes to our web page, along with news on seed swap events and activity.
